My friend Emily left for America early Friday morning, but we have another guest coming tonight. A missions team from Kansas will be in Prishtina for a week, and we'll get to play host to one woman while she serves at the school. The teachers are very excited to receive help for classroom inventory and other not-so-glamourous tasks, and we're excited to show some good Kosovar hospitality.
This week, Sam is busy squeezing in the last few sections of material into his classes, and next week, he'll be administering and grading a bunch of finals. He asks me just about every day if it's summer yet—I think he may be more anxious than the students!
As always, we could use prayers for endurance. In addition to our usual load, we'll be squeezing in lots of appointments, church meetings, goodbyes, and packing before we catch our transatlantic flight on June 16th. And though the summer will mostly be about family, friends, and rest, we will also be attempting to raise around $15,000 in support for next year. Asking for money is our absolute least favorite thing to do, but we have quite a few needs for the summer (rent, food, new clothes, etc.), so we're asking you all to continue supporting us as you feel led, both in prayer and finances. We'll also be hosting at least one TBA event in Springfield, IL, and we'd love to see you there!
Thanks for keeping up with us and praying us on our way! Good supporters are a huge part of successful ministry (which I'll discuss on Friday), and you guys are great!
